"Ling lizard" series of robots is the national "863" program support, self-developed, with independent intellectual property rights of the new composite mobile structure of the series of anti-terrorism detonating robot, it has detection and a variety of operational functions, can be widely used in public security, armed police explosion and detection. It consists of: track composite mobile part, multi-functional working robot, mechanical control part, (wireless) wired image data transmission part. Among them, there are innovations in joint track movement mechanism, weapon control system and so on.
As a ground mobile robot, it has a strong ground adaptability, it can move back and forth under different road surfaces and turn in situ, with automatic climbing, stair climbing function. When the barrier is over, the robot adopts the track movement mode, when the artificial ground is leveled, the robot adopts the wheel movement mode, gives full play to the advantages of both, the design of the three tracks lets the robot smoothly up and down the stairs. According to the requirements of use of explosives destroyer, burst shotgun, tear gas and other weapons, complete the corresponding special functions. The robot is equipped with four cameras for environmental observation and operation control, the lighting system uses silicon crystals as lighting materials, which are small in size, light weight, low power consumption, high brightness and more reliable, and equipped with automatic cable collection devices, robot convenient handling boxes, high-efficiency batteries, etc. The robots have two control modes, cable operation (control distance of 100 meters) and cableless operation (control distance of 300 meters), which can be switched depending on the needs.
Division I has developed the "spirit lizard-A", "spirit lizard-B", "spirit lizard-H", "spirit lizard-HW" anti-terrorist detonator.
