Applicable occasions
Wind extinguishers are suitable for fighting young or secondary forest fires, grassland fires, barren hills and grasslands fires. Applicable to wind fire extinguishers, single fire extinguisher has little effect, and the cooperation of two or three machines can achieve better results.
The following conditions are not suitable for the use of wind fire extinguishers;
(1) Fire whose flame height exceeds 2.5 meters;
(2) The height of shrubs is over 1.5 meters, and the height of herbaceous plants is over 1 meter. This is because when the grass shrub is over 1 meter high, it is extremely flammable and spreads rapidly once it is on fire because of unclear vision. The fire fighters can not evacuate and are prone to personal injury accidents.
(3) Face-to-face fire with flame height over 1.5 meters;
(4) There are a lot of fallen trees and clutter in the forest.
(5) Wind extinguishers can only extinguish open fires, not dark fires.
The fuel used in the wind extinguisher is a mixture of engine oil and gasoline. It is strictly prohibited to use pure gasoline and refuel on the burning spot. When refueling, it must be more than 10 meters away from the fire site. Within 10 meters, the radiation effect of the fire is greater, and it is easy to be ignited by the high temperature of the fire.
