Reference database of vehicle tyres and tread patterns to assist in identifying vehicle data from crime scenes
The tire comparison system is a reference collection of vehicle tires for more than 5,000 people. It can be used as an independent system or SICAR, tire trademark printing and evidence management system.
Each car's tire contains a set of functional codes for the tire manufacturer, its launch date, tire mosquitoes, etc. to facilitate search and matching operations. Different manufacturers have used the same tread, and the tire matching system records and links it so that the matcher can check whether the tire at the scene of the crime is relevant.
The database of the system enables the comparator to identify elements pattern features, tire printing, such as waves, lines, diamonds, tortuosity, curves, blocks, etc., and make corresponding data based on the evidence of the scene for analysis.
