Russian ISKRA-1DS radar velocimeter is a kind of hand-held radar. The excellent signal processing combined with microwave dual-channel detection technology makes the radar have the function of direction recognition. In the test, it can effectively distinguish whether the target is running in the same direction or in the opposite direction, which can greatly improve the reliability of radar test. With K band, the test lobe of the radar is relatively small. Therefore, the radar can effectively remove targets on other non-test lanes. In the test mode, the radar can work either in static state or in the patrol vehicle for dynamic measurement. In the dynamic measurement mode, it can be used for in-direction measurement.

Instructions for radar direction testing:
Reverse: It refers to the moving direction of the target is opposite to that of the radar.
In the same direction: refers to the moving direction of the target to a distance, and the moving direction of the target is the same as that of the radar.
In the course of testing, the angle between the radar's direction and the target's direction should be less than 10 C.
