The R400 is a series of handheld digital gamma spectrometers. It can be quickly positioned, accurately measured, and accurately identified nuclides and contamination from the received gamma radiation. Not only can identiFINDER2 detect X-rays, but it also detects neutron sources through an optional neutron detector, thus broadening the scope of the instrument's application.
The standard R400 is available in a .Oslash; 1.4 x 2 ?quot; a HIGH-dose GM tube detector, and with the exception of the R400 model, each model comes with a portable case, wristband, data cable, rechargeable battery pack and battery case, charger, download/ Analysis software and a carry-on case with shoulder straps.
The R400 can be configured with probes in different models and sizes as well as special software. The user can select a He-3 probe with built-in and external slow-down agents to measure neutron rays.
Changes in normal operating environments can affect the performance of RID, such as NaI (Tl) and LaBr3:(Ce), sharp temperature changes can also affect detectors or PMTs, which can lead to instability and nonlinearity in electronics, and high count rates can affect the position of peaks in the spectrograph. The R400 overcomes all of these effects with advanced technology with auto-calibration and LED continuous steady-spectrum.
