The newly designed FidoX3 is the lightest and most sensitive hand-held microexplosive detector on the market. The compact design of FidoX3 meets the strict military standard MIL-STD 810-G. FidoX3 batteries last 8 hours, cold start time is within 5 minutes, and recovery time after response is only a few seconds, so you can use the saved waiting time for sampling and testing.
On the basis of the previous FidoNXT, the detection range of FidoX3 is further broadened. In addition to military explosives and ammonium nitrate explosives, FidoX3 has been able to detect TATP and emerging hydrogen peroxide and nitromethane liquid explosives. With FLIR's unique sensor technology, FidoX3's detection channel can selectively alert you to threats of greatest concern. In the event of new threats, FidoX3 can incorporate newly detected chemicals into the detection library through on-site upgrades.
FidoX3 has the function of identifying large categories of explosives. The target can be either liquid or solid, or gas, and the detection time is several seconds. The sampling strip fitted with FidoX3 is suitable for reliable detection of particle explosives.
