    WBM-IIS Portal Type Radioactive Pollution Monitor for Personnel

    WBM-IIS Portal Personnel Pollution Monitor is mainly used at the radiation health outlet of nuclear power plant or related nuclear facility plant. It is used to monitor the alpha and beta radioactive contamination (including alpha radioactive contamination on the surface of hands and feet) of all parts of the body when workers leave the radiation control area. Its main function is to inspect the whole body surface pollution of personnel, control its pollution level, establish isolation control zone, so as to avoid pollution diffusion in control zone.
    The monitor consists of 32 large area scintillator detectors. The total detection sensitivity area of the detector is over 13550 square centimeters. When the alpha and beta particles are detected, the pulse signal is generated. After amplification and shaping, the data are processed by industrial computer, and then the contaminated persons are judged according to the preset alarm threshold. The monitor can monitor human hands, feet, whole body and head by two-step measurement. If the contamination is detected, the alarm is automatically given and the contaminated area is displayed by the monitor. The whole monitoring process is fully automated.
