The satellite phone is much smaller in size than the previous Iridium 9505A model. It uses a brighter display screen, which enhances the brightness of the original Iridium 9505A by 27%. Iridium 9555 has a maximum standby time of 30 hours and a call time of 4 hours.
Iridium 9555 also enhances the function of sending and receiving information (E-mail and SMS). The address bar can also store more telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and notepad information. Iridium 9555 also supports automatic dialing.

Matters needing attention:
Iridium SIM card can be stored permanently if it is not opened.
If it is opened, it must be opened with recharge. There are two kinds of recharge cards:
1. International Card
(1) The validity period of the recharge card is 75 minutes of one month, and the price is 1200 yuan from the date of recharge.
(2) A 500-minute recharge card with a validity period of one year is priced at 4500 yuan starting from the date of recharge.
2. Domestic Card: (can only be used in China)
(1) The validity period of a 100-minute recharge card is two months, and the price is 1000 yuan from the date of recharge.
(2) The validity period of a 500-minute recharge card is one year, and the price is 3200 yuan from the date of recharge.
Matters needing attention:
After the charges are successfully filled into the satellite telephone, the satellite telephone should be used as far as possible within the validity period of the charges, and the balance of the charges beyond the validity period will be automatically returned to zero.
After the call fee returns to zero, it can be renewed for three months.
If the renewal fee has not been recharged in these three months, the SIM card will be cancelled, that is, the SIM card is invalid. If you want to continue using satellite phones, you need to replace the new SIM card, which is worth 150 yuan.
